About

I'm a BIFA-winning and Emmy-nominated Production Sound Mixer / Sound Recordist, based between London and Oslo, with over 20 years of experience across feature films, television drama and documentaries.

My recent credits include Open Water, an eight-part BBC series filmed in summer 2026 and directed by Caleb Azumah Nelson; Dennis, an A24 feature directed by Emily Mortimer; Flavia de Luce, starring Martin Freeman and Jonathan Pryce; and Netflix’s Too Much, directed by Lena Dunham and produced by Working Title.

My documentary work includes Jerry Rothwell’s acclaimed The Reason I Jump, which won Best Sound at the 2020 Sound of the Year Awards, as well as the Audience Award at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.

I've worked on a wide range of productions around the world, from sensitive documentaries and experimental art projects to major feature films and television drama. Filming has taken me from the Amazon rainforest and the deserts of the Middle East to busy cities and film studios. I particularly enjoy the creative and technical challenges that come with working in different environments.

For me, location sound goes beyond recording dialogue. I enjoy capturing the atmosphere, details and textures of each environment, giving sound designers the freedom to explore and develop ideas in post-production.

With my own comprehensive sound equipment, I can provide flexible setups tailored to each production, from a full sound cart for feature films and television drama to lightweight, mobile recording sound kit for documentaries.

I'm trained in hostile environments and first aid, and experienced in working internationally.
